Fertility Hormone Balance Infertility Natural Fertility Women's Health

Supporting Hormone Health

I am all about empowering you with natural methods to support your fertility and hormone health.  While boosting these naturally, focusing on supporting three main areas:  hormone health, uterine health and timing.

How to Support Hormone Health

Our hormones are critical to in regulating the menstrual cycle and preparing our bodies for pregnancy.  Here are some tips for balancing them naturally.

  • Exercise Regularly:  Physical activity improves blood circulation and regulates reproductive hormones.  Yoga and pilates are particularly beneficial.
  • Reduce Stress:  High stress levels can disrupt hormone production.  Incorporating stress-reducing practices like mediation or deep breathing exercises is essential.
  • Balanced Diet:  Consuming a diet rich in plant proteins, healthy fats and fiber helps stabilize insulin levels and support hormone balance.
Supporting Uterine Health

A healthy uterus is vital for conception.  Here are ways to promote uterine health:

  • Increase Circulation:  Increasing circulation is helpful for helping your eggs get all the nutrients they will need and help the body to get rid of waste through healthy blood flow.
  • Regular Exercise:  Moderate exercise such as walking or yoga enhances blood flow to the uterus, which promotes its health and functionality.  Self Fertility Massage (let me know if you would like info on this) is another therapy that has been shown to be very beneficial for uterine health.
  • Hydration and Sleep:  Staying hydrated and maintaining a regular sleep schedule can positively influence uterine health by ensuring hormonal balance and reducing inflammation.
Timing

When trying to conceive, timing is crucial.  Understanding your menstrual cycle can help you identify your most fertile days.  (get in touch for help  with how to track your cycle correctly and know your ovulation signs)

  • Track Your Cycle:  Use a calendar or fertility tracking app to monitor your menstrual cycle and predict ovulation.
  • Recognize Ovulation Signs:  Look for signs of ovulation such as changes in cervical mucus or a slight increase in basal body temperature.
  • Plan Intercourse Around Ovulation:  Engaging in intercourse during the ovulation window increases chances of conception.

Preparing for pregnancy is a proactive step towards ensuring a healthy journey to parenthood.  Spend at least 90 days focusing on your reproductive health.  This prep period allows you to make lifestyle adjustments that support fertility.

Any preparation is beneficial but taking these steps over the next few months can significantly enhance your chances of conceiving.
