Trying to Conceive Checklist

I generally recommend doing these nine things at least three months before you plan to start trying to conceive. Why three months? It takes about 100 days for the egg you ovulate to fully develop. Little changes you make can make a huge impact in improving egg quality and getting your body to the best place possible for a healthy pregnancy.

  • Check progesterone levels
  • Start cycle and ovulation tracking
  • Balance your blood sugar
  • Start a quality prenatal
  • Get enough sleep
  • Add in omega-3 foods/supplement
  • Check thyroid, iron and Vitamin D
  • Reduce hormone disrupting chemicals
  • Start healing current period issues

If your progesterone is low this can mean trouble getting or staying pregnant. You can increase low progesterone naturally. Even if you are:

  • not ovulating
  • not producing progesterone
  • struggling with severe cycle symptoms
  • experiencing confusing and irregular periods

you can have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

This may be you –

Wanting to get pregnant soon, but are experiencing some period symptoms and want to make sure you are supporting your body in the best way possible for a health pregnancy

Wanting to get pregnant in the next year or two and want to feel confident you are doing the right things now to support your body

Overall want support when it comes to:

  • How to actually pinpoint ovulation
  • What labs to check before getting pregnant and during pregnancy
  • What lifestyle things can really make a difference
  • Fertility supportive meals
  • Supplements – what to take, how much and when
  • Navigating doctor appointments
