- Debilitating period pain can indicate estrogen and progesterone imbalances
- Luteal phase spotting can mean low progesterone
- Irregular cycles can indicate cortisol imbalances, high androgens, low progesterone
- Short cycles can be responsible for low estrogen and/or progesterone
- Long cycles can indicate cortisol imbalances, high androgens, low progesterone
- Short luteal phase (less than 10 days) can mean low progesterone
- Heavy or clotty periods generally indicate estrogen issues
